  10.      The LANtastic for Windows utility harnesses the power of the LANtastic
  11.      Network Operating System 4.0 and above from within the simple, elegant
  12.      framework of pull-down menus, icons and on-line help in Microsoft
  13.      Windows. Using the world leader in peer networks, the DOS-based
  14.      LANtastic system, LANtastic for Windows software runs network
  15.      utilities as Windows applications in standard or enhanced modes.

  17.      You can open multiple windows to monitor printer queues, manage user
  18.      accounts and chat with multiple users -- all at the same time. Use
  19.      pull-down menus to create and maintain shared resources like drives,
  20.      printers and other peripherals. Click, drag and drop network resource
  21.      icons to assign them to logical drives. Save your configuration and
  22.      continue running the LANtastic for Windows utility in the background
  23.      while running another Windows application.

  25.      E-mail improves when you use the LANtastic for Windows utility. Open
  26.      your incoming mail window to know immediately how many new text and
  27.      voice messages you've received. Use Windows' Dynamic Data Exchange
  28.      (DDE) to send data from any Windows application to anyone else on the
  29.      network via LANtastic e-mail. You can create a spreadsheet in Excel
  30.      and mail it to a remote user without ever leaving the application. Or
  31.      use Word for Windows or Windows Paintbrush to create mail messages.
  32.      The receiver simply double-clicks on the mail item in the Queues
  33.      window, and the file automatically opens in the application in which
  34.      it was created.

  36.      Computing across the LANtastic network takes on a sound dimension in
  37.      e-mail and with any Windows 3.1 application supporting Object Linking
  38.      and Embedding (OLE). Attach voice comments to spreadsheets, documents
  39.      and databases using the Artisoft Sounding Board adapter and OLE
  40.      protocol-compliant ArtiSound recorder software. Used in Windows, the
  41.      Sounding Board is fully compatible with other sound adapters and their
  42.      files.
